ZICO- The greatest footballer of all time:

He is ranked the greatest footballer number 12 of all time.

Remember our school time when we used to talk about the free kicks in football. The first name which comes in our mind was of David Beckham who was master in striking the ball into the goalpost at most of the occasions when the team required a miracle to win or either to make a crucial draw.Here is an another man who was famous for his scorpion kicks he is 'Zico' its may be you don't have heard about  him so high but let me tell you after watching this video you will believe that he is one of the best.

It was early 80's when the world's best considered Brazil was talked about not to have won the world cup ever. Inspite of this it has a bunch of star players who always led the Brazil at forefront, and one of them is 'Rico' the 'white pele' some say like that. When asked to Pele about greatest players he always mentioned Rico as a high esteem great performer. His free kicks, passion at ground, two great feet penetrative ,his lethal attack makes him Brazilian 

hero of that time A long time of his career he has spent with the Brazilian club Flamengo which has produced lots of Gems for the National Side. He   was on his zenith of performance with Flamengo for almost 17 years in his 21 years long career and    those were peak years of success for the club too.

After he left the club for the first time he went to Italy. Despite getting offers from AC Milan and AS Roma he switched to Udinese. He played two seasons with Udine and returned to his beloved club Flamengo of Brazil in 1985 ,the reason to move back was several injuries and unsatisfaction.

1982 and 1986 world cups went to a disappointment for Brazil failing to grab a position in Final Stages. However Zico finished the1982  tournament with four goals and in other they were eliminated by France in Quarterfinals in a tensed penalty results.
Coming back to his free kicks , he was widely known for his splendid free kicks. Every player has his own style of taking the free kicks most popular players who are famous for taking free kicks are: Davic Beckham, Christiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Roberto Carlos they all have their unique moves .                                 The thing which differs Rico from others is he was continuosly experimenting and tweaking on his techniques throughout his career. He was worshipped for his special Divine curlers from his boot's instep and curling it to the other corner.
