John Terry's Retirement

John Terry

Man who is always surrounded through controversies has ended his career with the same. He is 31 and still had plenty to offer as proved in the EURO's recently this year. Playing a huge part in implementing defensive tactics and a major role in the teams for which he played.
He was a captain from young age and had the ability too to cope up with the forthcoming challenge. His defending capability was one of his specialaity which one could not deny, he served England very well as a central defender for about nine years.
For 10 years he made it over by 81 caps , four major tournaments, and three seperate stints as an England Captian.








Controversies Associated with Terry:


In September 2011 , he and his two Chelsea teammates were fined two weeks wages for an incident involving American Players and tourists just after the 9/11 attack at the Heathrow airport bar. In Jan 2002 Terry and his two team mates from Chelsea were charged with assault and affray after a confrontation with a nightclub bouncer.

Extramarital affair allegations:

In Jan 2010 he was blamed by a high court judge of having affair with the Wayne Bridge's former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel in late 2009.

Racial Abuse allegations:

On 2 Nov 2011, Terry was placed under investigation following an allegation of racist abuse during a match versus 'Queens Park Rangers'. He was alleged against Anton Ferdinand.
